Statement of Current Research

I make Art to better ask questions about the nature of space, matter and perception.  Life, decay, order, and growth all hold spiritual significance for me. I call upon my intrinsic and visual understanding of these to fuel my thoughts. Using my own esoteric metaphors and curiosities I explore ideas about the makeup of our reality through form, line and space.  Recently a more specific cloud of thought has created a series of works that uses the architectural influence of a space to reduce and multiply the ubiquitous elements creating a simultaneous "growth and decay" narrative.  At once building up through generations of scale while visually breaking down, the element is shattered into a pile of ordered chaos.
